Scammers pretending to be Microsoft and various other IT support engineers have been cold calling people and attempting to trick them into downloading information-stealing trojans and other malware or handing over credit card details to purchase rogue computer security software. In some cases the scammers claim to be Microsoft Certified Engineers working on behalf of PCcure Services.

We would like to reassure the public that we never cold call customers and generally do not operate outside of the Manchester/Stockport area.
